In recent years, more and more companies have become aware of the power of the sense of smell in product development. The way in which an odour is perceived can play a decisive role in the purchasing decision and hence in the commercial success of a product. In some cases, a product’s ability to enhance or reduce odours can create a unique selling point. In others, the presence of undesirable odours can have a negative impact on the attractiveness of a product.

It is therefore important to measure how a product’s odour is perceived based on scientific and reproducible methodologies. In our annual Odour Workshop on Product and Material Testing, our team of experts will accompany you beyond the odour measurement, with specialised know-how and years of experience.

It is our pleasure to invite you to our annual Odour Workshop on Product and Material Testing, which will take place on 15 and 16 May 2024 in Kiel, Germany. 

This workshop is open to participants from all industries and will provide valuable information on odour evaluation of products and materials. In addition to a series of presentations by relevant experts and hands-on sessions demonstrating specific odour measurement techniques in our lab facilities, you will have the opportunity to discuss specific questions in one-on-one sessions.
